Dear Poesy

I dont know if you remember me. I was a BB girl, yr senior but i got to know you more when we were out of school, where you started casting as a talent. I remember you, yr long hair friend Kelly and your brother Justin fr my time at Face 2 Face with Sheila Monteiro, Philip (both of whom i still keep in touch with). Recently i got to know about your case from Michelle Khoo (whom i also got to know from F2F) and is my insurance agent and a dear friend. Rings a bell?

I just want you to know that there will be a lot, a multitute of people out there reaching our for you in prayers, myself included. So, have faith, go in peace and fight on! Can i ask if you are a Christian? If you believe there's God, if you have the faith, you will surely know, there's hope. Always as He will see you through.

I am sorry i will not be able to contribute to your funds for the surgery as i myself have been diagnosed with terminal cancer since Nov last y, with a prognosis of 4 mths. My recent scans showed further spread which doesnt look promising and I will be going for more treatments, even now. Hate to say this, but looks like we are young victims here. I know of a few more BB girls in our situation too.

I admire your courage and many talents. And i am sure and confident that you will be in good hands to a speedy recovery with your fighting spirit and determination and all the support and love that is being channeled to you right now. So, all the very best and do drop me a line if you can, whenever you can.

God, i come to you in the precious name of Jesus, your beloved son, our Redeemer. I cry to you Lord to bless Posey as she prepares herself for the operation she needs for her recovery. Give her your peace, strength, love and wisdom to go through the journey you have prepared for her and be with her in all her endevours and trials, that she will come out in victory, gloriying your name as we believe & declare you our Healer, our Saviour.

In Jesus' precious name. Amen!

Cheer to Jennifer
Dear Jennifer,

After thinking about it, I remember you. In fact, I think I saw you in Gudang BSC just a few Saturdays ago while I was bringing my client shopping! I remember seeing your familiar face and thought to myself that you look like you have been going through chemo. You were with a Malay man and a boy whom I assumed are your family. What a strange coincidence!

What you are going through is a lot more difficult than my situation. Thank you for writing to me and giving me encouragement. I am saddened to hear about your health. My mother has also recently been diagnosed of recurrent cancerous tumours at her lymph nodes. Ironic that these things only happen to the strong. God has strange ways in bringing us back to Him.

Please keep yourself well. Hope that I can bring you some cheer. My heart goes out to you.

Love,
Poesy

Hey, so good to hear fr you. Yes, that was us at Gudang. I thought i might
be you too but i havent seen you for so long....i just couldnt confirm.
Should have approached you. Shopping with yr client? Gee i like your job.
That malay man is actually very Chinese and yes, that's my precious family.

Yes, God has his funny and mysyterious ways. Sorry to hear abt yr mum. The
world is really changing...fast, cancer seems like common cold now and
that's not good. Since my diagnosis, i've come to know of some many out
there in the same boat.

Does the tumor give you pain? You looked well in the paper and seemed to be
taller than i remember.

Thanks for writing. Let's keep in touch, that will be good cheer for me.
When are you going off to yr operation? Let me know, so we can continue to
hold you in prayers.
