Poesy's first stint was a Levi's 501 television commercial at the age of 14, as the Levi's girl. After that, she has just been doing whatever fell in her lap. Poesy pursued new skills whenever she found the resources and time for them. Along with work, she studied part-time to advance herself.

Helping Angels is a network of volunteers dedicated to providing support and assistance to various community causes initially started for Malaysia. Our first program was spearheaded locally to benefit the children in shelters and orphanages - to give aid with their education and improve their situation. A further objective is that angel volunteers can learn from their involvement in these activities through their interaction with the underprivileged. Besides this cause, the group also covers welfare issues for animals, the aged, the disabled, the abused, et cetera.

There are ongoing talks of sprouting the angel activities to other international cities outside of Malaysia. For other countries, the focuses may be different, it depends on what type of angel aid is needed most in those localities. Do come by here from time to time and watch this space! Meantime, you can join Facebook and find the group running their events vibrantly on a weekly basis since September 2007.
